The family that came from Adam

1This is the story of Adam's family. You see, when God made people, he made them to be like himself.

2He made them to be a man and a woman, and he blessed them. That means that he was good to them, he made them strong and he called them humans. This is a list of people that were in Adam's family line.

3Adam was alive for 130 years and then he had a son that he named Seth. When Seth was born, he was just like Adam and looked like him too.

4Adam lived for another 800 years after Seth was born and Adam had more sons and daughters.

5Adam died when he was 930 years old.

6When Seth was 105 years old he had a son named Enosh.

7Seth lived for another 807 years, and he had more sons and daughters.

8Seth died when he was 912 years old.

9When Enosh was 90 years old he had a son named Keynan.

10Enosh lived for another 815 years, and he had more sons and daughters.

11Enosh died when he was 905 years old.

12When Keynan was 70 years old he had a son named Maha-lalel.

13Keynan lived for another 840 years, and he had more sons and daughters.

14Keynan died when he was 910 years old.

15When Maha-lalel was 65 years old he had a son named Jared.

16Maha-lalel lived for another 830 years, and he had more sons and daughters.

17Maha-lalel died when he was 895 years old.

18When Jared was 162 years old he had a son named Enock.

19Jared lived for another 800 years, and he had more sons and daughters.

20Jared died when he was 962 years old.

21When Enock was 65 years old he had a son named Methu-selah.

22Enock lived for another 300 years after Methu-selah was born, and he had more sons and daughters.

23Enock was a good man who spent a lot of time with God. Enock lived until he was 365 years old, then one day, people didn't see him anymore. You see, he did not die. God took him straight up to heaven.

25When Methu-selah was 187 years old he had a son named Larmek.

26Methu-selah lived for another 782 years, and he had more sons and daughters.

27Methu-selah died when he was 969 years old.

28When Larmek was 182 years old he had a son.

29Larmek named his son Noah. Larmek said, “The Lord has cursed the ground, and that is why we have to work really hard to get our food. But I will call my son Noah. He will make us feel better.” The name Noah sounds like the Hebrew word that means, He will make us feel better.

30Then Larmek lived for another 595 years and he had more sons and daughters.

31Larmek died when he was 777 years old.

32When Noah was 500 years old he had 3 sons, named Shem, Ham and Jay-feth.
